FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • What should I look for when hiring a painting contractor?

There are several key things to look for when choosing a painting contractor. At the very least, check to see if they are licensed, insured, experienced, and capable of completing work. Look for reputable companies with local references.

  • Who will be there to answer my questions or to address any concerns I may have throughout the project?

Maintaining an open line of communication with you is very important to us. Your job foreman should be able to answer most questions but please feel free to contact your estimator or contact our office staff at any time to address concerns or answer any questions you may have whatsoever.

  • How do you determine the amount you will charge for my painting project?

There are many things to consider, including the type and size of the painted area, type of windows and other trim work, number and intensity of paint colors, amount of protection needed for plants and furniture, quality of paint used, and the extent of needed paint surface preparation. All of those things will need to be considered in order to provide you with an accurate cost estimate.

  • What color should I choose?

Whether on an interior or exterior paint job, we will normally start clients looking at standard color charts. A lot of colors are in stock, and the stock color paints tend to perform better due to the manufacturing process. The exterior paint color chart will also have a nice variety of harmonious color combinations to choose from.

  • Can you repair damaged surfaces during the painting process?

Absolutely. Our skilled team includes carpenters who can seamlessly integrate carpentry repairs into the painting process, addressing issues such as damaged trim, window sills, and more.

  • Do you do carpentry work?

We do any and all carpentry work that would relate to painting. You don’t need to hire an outside carpenter if there are issues; we can fix them as part of our painting prep process. We repair trim, molding, siding etc. We also sand and patch sheetrock and caulk. The point is, we don’t just paint; we give you the complete finish you are after.
